How can I use Text Search in StoresightAI to find products or keywords across images?

StoresightAI’s Text Search lets you find exact keywords or phrases across photos, circulars, and planograms, making it easy to pinpoint products, promotions, and key details.

Using Text Search in StoresightAI

StoresightAI’s Text Search feature lets you find words or phrases directly within photos, circulars, and planograms. Whether you’re looking for a specific SKU, promotional detail, or keyword, Text Search makes it easy to pinpoint exactly what you need.

1. Global Text Search

  • Click the main search bar at the top of the dashboard.

  • Type your keywords and select the Photos tab.

  • Results will display all photos containing the searched text.

Pro Tip: Use double quotes around your query to search for an exact phrase.

Example: Searching "12-pack" returns only images containing that exact term.

2. Filtering by Text

Open the Filters modal and click Add → Text.

  1. Includes → Show only results containing that text.

  2. Excludes → Block results containing that text.

    Enter your keyword or phrase, and select:

    • Combine text filtering with other filters, like retailer, date range, or product type, for more precise searches.

3. Text Search in the Viewer

  • While viewing photos or circulars in the Viewer, click the Text Search icon in the sidebar.

  • Type your keywords into the search bar.

  • Matching text will be highlighted and auto-focused within the image.

Keyboard Shortcut: Press W in the Viewer to quickly toggle Text Search.
