How can I use Filters in StoresightAI to refine my search results and focus on relevant data?

StoresightAI’s Filters tool gives you precise control over your searches, letting you combine conditions, exclude noise, and build custom analyses across brands, retailers, categories, and geographies.

Using Filters in StoresightAI

StoresightAI’s Filters feature allows you to combine multiple conditions to narrow your search results with laser precision. Whether you’re analyzing promotions, monitoring brand execution, or reviewing seasonal campaigns, filters let you focus on exactly what matters most.

1. Adding a Filter

  1. Click the Filter button at the top left of the feed.

  2. Select your filter type (e.g., Retailer, Brand, Text, Date, Region, etc.).

    • Is any of → Matches one or more selected values.

    • Is all of → Matches only results containing all selected values.

    • Is none of → Excludes selected values from results.

      Choose a filter condition:

  3. Enter your criteria or select from the available options.

  4. Add multiple filters using the And button.

  5. Remove any filter by clicking the minus icon.

Keyboard Shortcut: Press ] to quickly add another filter while in the filter modal.

2. Advanced Settings

For more complex filtering logic:

Enable Filter Groups to create separate sets of filters that return results matching any group.

Example:

  • Group 1: Tag → Displays + Halloween

  • Group 2: Tag → Displays + Christmas

  • Result: Returns photos of both seasonal displays in one search.

3. Common Filter Types

Retailer Filter

  • View photos from specific retailers.

  • Exclude retailers using negative filters to focus on key accounts.

Brand Filter

  • Monitor your brand’s performance or competitor activity.

  • Filter by single brands, multiple brands, or exclude brands entirely.

Text Filter

  • Find keywords in packaging, price tags, or signage.

  • Use double quotes for exact matches.

  • Example: "12-pack" returns exact matches only.

Category & Tag Filters

Focus results on specific product categories or special attributes, like:

  • Display type (main section vs. endcap)

  • Seasonal events (Halloween, Superbowl, Christmas, etc.)

Date Filter

Analyze trends over time using:

  • Preset ranges (e.g., last 7 days, last 30 days)

  • Custom start and end dates

  • Combine with other filters to compare historical vs. current execution.

Geographic Filters

  • Region, Country, State, City, Post Code → Narrow by location.

  • Map Tool → Dynamically select areas by drawing directly on the map.

  • Combine with demographic filters for rural, suburban, or urban analysis.

Channel Filter

Compare performance across retail types:

  • Grocery, club, convenience, department, and more.


Collection & User Filters

  • Limit results to specific internal collections or see uploads from designated colleagues.

How It Helps
